In case of the case of a jackscrew, the joint structure 1 is unscrewed from its fasten position and the threaded end of the jackscrew is fixed into the appropriate slot in the fiber reinforced plastic pipe.

In case of the tapered drive, the threads of the screw are fed through the tapered ring into the slot at the bottom of the fiber reinforced plastic pipe. The tapered ring is then pulled out from the bottom of the pipe to form the appropriate face on the face of the insert ring. The other method includes gluing the threads of the screw into the tapered ring at the base of the pipe. The screw threads are then fed through the tapered ring at the bottom of the pipe and fixed firmly.
